My Soul Immortal

I received a copy of this book via the author in return for an honest review. This book was really cool. In the world of literary works, we have often seen many, and i stress the many remakes of the same 'soul-mates' story line. Honestly, at times i feel like running away when i see the word 'soul mate' in a blurb. However, when the author approached me to review this one, i was intrigued and when i began reading, i knew i made the right decision. I really liked this book. We delve into the realm of 'soul immortals', which is reminiscent of soul mates but with a few more twists and turns that made it a thoroughly enjoyable read. There was also some really awesome 'lore' attached to it! Let's have a brief chat about the plot, this will be super short because i don't want to ruin it by giving you guys too much info. Okay, here it goes:

What would you do if everyday you walked the earth, knowing that you cannot die? What would you do if the person you've loved with all your being did die and keeps dying no matter how much you try to change the outcome? What would you do if the torture repeats over and over again?

Thus, we delve into the realm of the sons of death. In all honesty this book grabbed my attention from the beginning, the plot thickened with every chapter too. Okay, i will admit that there were some scenes i grumbled to, and yes, there were facepalm moments...but that didn't deter from the general enjoyment of the book. Printy writes really well, she draws you into her world and doesn't let go for a long time. In essence, my point is, try it, you'll not regret it. There aren't insipid characters who will give you headaches, you'll actually find yourself cheering them on and hoping for positive outcomes to their plight. Stay awesome! -The Book Herald Check me out on goodreads!
